We built this because we stopped taking the thing that was working.
Creatine is one of the most studied supplements that exists. But research doesn't help if the product sits in a cabinet — and most forms make it easy to quit. A gritty tub. A routine that only works at home. A taste you push through.
This is the story of how a CFO's burnout, a skeptical trainer conversation, and a year of falling off my own routine turned into Rephora Labs™.

Consistency is the only thing that makes creatine work.
Creatine is one of the most researched supplements available. But research doesn't help if the product sits in a cabinet — and most forms make it easy to quit.
We exist to remove every reason to skip a day. Rephora Labs™ is built to travel, mix clean, and taste good enough that taking it isn't the hard part of your routine — showing up for yourself is the easy part.
Rephora comes from an old root that means to carry.
Re- means again: daily, repeated, without fail.
Phora from Greek pherein: to carry, to bear.
Put together, Rephora means to carry, again and again. Electrolytes aren't in here just for hydration — they're the carrier, the system that helps bring creatine into your cells efficiently, day after day. The name describes what the product does: carrying the thing that works into your system, and into your routine, reliably enough that you stop having to think about it.
This came out of my own routine falling apart.
I was a CFO at a tech company — long hours were the norm, and training was the one hour that was mine. My trainer was the one who first brought up creatine. My gut reaction was that it was a bodybuilding thing, not something I needed. He pushed me to read the research instead of the reputation.
Recovery got easier, as expected. What I didn't expect was what happened at my desk. About a month in, the 3pm wall — the exhaustion and fog I'd built my whole schedule around — stopped showing up.
The soreness going away was nice. The fog lifting was the thing that actually changed how I worked.
Water was fine. Protein powder was better. But a tub doesn't travel well, and I was on planes constantly. I'd miss a few days, and the fog would quietly creep back. The supplement wasn't the problem — staying consistent with it was.
Rephora Labs™ started as a personal fix — a way to take my daily dose that could survive a carry-on and a hotel room. Easier to travel with, better tasting than a plain tub, built so the habit doesn't break when life gets inconvenient.
A personal fix isn't the same as a real product.
Over a year in formulation
We worked alongside nutritionists for more than a year, going back and forth on dose, ingredients, and taste until it held up to more than just my own routine.
Tested on real people first
Before this was ever for sale, it was in the hands of peers I trusted — people with no reason to be polite if it didn't work or didn't taste right.
Formulated with nutritionists, refined over a year
Built for travel, not just the kitchen counter
Mixes clean — no grit, no chalky aftertaste
Designed around daily consistency, not gym days
Who we built this for
High-output professionals — running on long days who need their afternoon back, not just their morning.
Frequent travelers — who need a routine that survives a carry-on and a hotel room.
Anyone who's tried creatine and fallen off it — because the format, not the science, got in the way.
Years later, I still haven't missed a day.
That consistency is the whole product. I built Rephora Labs™ for people who live the way I did — high-output, often on the road, unwilling to trade their focus for their schedule.
